I want to begin by saying that, luckily, I have had many great experiences with Durand- including selling a truck, s Suburban, and buying a new Travers. If my last visit had been my first - I would never have returned! I had a routine oil change, maintenance visit. I arrived on time at 9am. They did seem busy, but two hours later I asked what the problem was - when those who arrived an hour after me for the same visit- had already finished and left! I was told paperwork was finishing up and it would be just a few more minutes. Another hour passed (now totaling 3 hours) and I was once again told it would just be a few more minutes. I was told nothing else. At that point I was so angry I wanted to just take my car and leave and go somewhere else to finish!! Someone else came from behind the desk to see what was the problem and offered me $50 off the cost. I don't care about the cost - I care about my time and not being informed! Someone came from the back and apologized, saying he was to blame because he was having internet problems trying to get my inspection sticker. I want to be clear that I would have been perfectly understanding if that explanation was given freely two hours prior to that -- but not after the fact of my complaint! I did not recognize the young man who was at the desk dealing with me -- so I assume he was a new employee. I HIGHLY recommend that you train new employees in customer relations! Again, if this had been my first experience with Durand, I would never have returned!

Our salesman, Mark Sacco, did an excellent job explaining the two different vehicles we were looking at. Very patient as we ended up driving 4 cars! Before we made our final decision. The entire team went above and beyond to be sure we got the vehicle we wanted. We have always found buying a new or used vehicle very stressful. I can say that the whole experience with Durand and Mark Sacco was 100% stress free. We are very happy with our purchase and would highly recommend our friends to Durand. We found out after the sale that this was Mark's first sale. He did an amazing job and if he hadn't mentioned it we never would have known. Thank you Mark!!!! We have since been in touch with Mark again as we would like to purchase a 2024 blue Trax. Hoping that one can be located that works for us.

Loyal customer of 16 years at Durand Service. Went in for an oil change and tire rotation. Told I had a seized lug nut and approx. 6 rounded off lug nuts. Scheduled a 2 hour service to repair. Russ the Service Manager called to say he needed the car for a whole day. Difficult for me to do. They don't do loaners anymore. Now I know why. Seemed strange they needed the car for a whole day to do a small repair. Dropped the car off at 8:00 am. They did give me a ride to work. Called a 2:30 to check on the car. They said they STILL did not have the lug nut off. I told them my ride to get the car was leaving and I would come in. On the way in Russ called again. Said he needed the car another day. He opened the conversation saying that i really was not a good customer of Durand. He went on and on how difficult this was. I told him it was one lug nut and I have changed dozens of tires over the years and have had this happen before. NOT a major ordeal. He them Implied that I did not know what I was talking about and his service Technicians did. I said that this is getting ridiculous and that I was taking the car home at 5:00 done or not. He shouted at me twice saying "That car is not leaving here today" When I arrived i spoke with Brenda and told her my frustration. I saw Rick Durand standing there and said I should talk with him. She said would and asked me what Russ had said. Like a miracle 1/2 hour later the lug nut was repaired and the car was done. $469.00 for this service. I was a loyal customer of Durand Service for 16 years and was always treated with respect and always felt they were looking out for me. That has changed. They were Clearly trying to fleece me, and did. Having had 4 cars serviced there over the years, one I spent over $11,000 on alone, I will never go back. I will not be brow beaten and belittled by Russ again. I have given the Durand Service team several good reviews over the years. ALL DONE WITH DURAND.

The work was thorough and the staff kind. I felt a slight sense of "if you'd come to us sooner this wouldn't have happened." I TRIED to come sooner but several calls and emails to make appointments went unanswered and I felt compelled to be seen elsewhere. Sadly, my more local mechanic seems to have misdiagnosed the situation. Kudos to Mark, the new salesman who actively reached out and engaged with me.
